According to Danielle, that seems to be the case, at least in the society at large. The media often portrays us men, but especially husbands, as bumbling idiots who can't get anything right.
As someone entering into a lifelong, committed relationship, I wonder what my experience of this will be like. I don't think Dezzie will take me for granted. She is often very appreciate of me and I of her. And at the end of the day, I think that's what matters. The media will cycle through to something else, likely more crude and demeaning to man, woman, and child, but that too will pass. Love wins.
